| motor upgrade
ok,so everywhere i have read,the stock 390 motors on my rockslide are 70T,what exactly does 70T mean? i see the 540 kit for it,just not sure if i wanna go that big just yet. i wanna get more wheelspeed,but i still wanna be able to crawl pretty good. sorry if this has been asked,i tried the search..and im a noob when it come to electric RC's.

70t means it is a 70 turn motor, which is each segment of the armature has 70 turns of wire on it. Less Turns=More power, RPM, and in theory less torque More Turns=Less power, less RPM, more torque. You don't have a lot of motor options stock, so the 540 upgrade is probably worth it. Later EddieO |
