| BEC with a TEU-101BK
Hi guys, Can a UBEC/BEC be used with a Tamiya TEU-101BK. Im using a Futaba 2pl, 27mhz RX w/BEC and Hitec 645MG for a servo. My rig is a CC01. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

Ok thanks for the reply. Pardon my ignorance though, i've never used a BEC before. Can these UBEC's be used for cars? I know that they're intended more for planes, but these are locally available and I'd like to try them out. Thanks again. |

They can be but they aren't all that powerful. Most of us are using Castle Creations 10a BEC, most ESC's have a internal BEC that will put out 3-5a so I dont know why you would spend money to get one with the same rating when you need more. |
