i got a fleet of 5 integy motors ranging for a 35t to 65t.
i cant find brushes for my motors, can i use any brushes in em?

4 are the older version motors and 1 is the newer matrix v10tt motor

Probably 95% of RC rebuildable motors use either stand-up or laydown brushes.
Rebuildables usually mean you just remove the brush spring, pull out the brush and install new ones.
Other than laydown/stand-up, the other big difference is the brush compound. For crawler motors, the range of "OK" compounds is greater.

Likely, if your motors use stand-up brushes as that is what those appear to be.

I would prefer EddieO to chime in since he knows more about motors in general than most of us do.

as long as your sure your motor is a standup, then those should work. I am not familiar with the compound those are, but they should function just fine in your motors.....just monitor the break in period, as they may take more or less than the previous brush you were using...

Since your ordering from integy anyways...

*X-MOD Super Lathe 3 w/ Motor & Carbide V-Block for R/C or RC - Team Integy

not bad units, just take some time to setup correctly.....

Cobras are fine as long as they are not tweaked......if its tweaked, you will spend some time getting it cutting straight.

I bought used and it is great.
For the price, I would still do used, you just need to do some checks before going nuts cutting comms.
The comm thread goes over some of the checks, basically checking to be sure it's not cutting a taper.
Used can be in the $40-$80 range depending on the brand and what cutter it has.
I think I paid $65 for a nice Hudy with an original case ready to go, just add battery (I run an older 4 cell NiMH to power the lathe.)

Not a bad price. As for as buying used it is most likely set up decent enough. I think MOST people that take time to buy a lathe and rebuild their own stuff would most likely have put the effort in to true a lathe. There are exceptions to anything though............

I bought 5 used ones in the last year or so(addicted) and all have been true to the T. So don't be to feared of used.
