Wraith Axles on custom TVP chasis....anyone?

Im building a custom TVP crawler with wraith axles. Just wanna know if anyone has done this yet. I have concerns about reverse rotation motors, if they are necessary. Im thinking of using a traxxas XL-5 esc, and a brushed crawler motor. I think it should work fine, but if anyone has input on this it would be appreciated.

I believe you can just flip the diff gear to correct rotation if needed.
As long as motor is timed at zero, just reverse polarity. No need for a special motor.

doesnt axial have a new crawler with a TVP chassis and wraith axles?

Yep, just flip the ring gear in the diff to the other side of the pinion to change the rotation.

A tvp wraith axled crawler like this one?

in the Wraith (AR60) axle, you can flip the ring gear/locker assembly to change direction. The AX.SCX axle housingcannot do this and you would have to do one of the following options to reverse direction.

But as mentioned, a crawler motor with zero timing advance can just be wired in the opposite polarity to get it to spin the correct way.

If you use a Castle esc (or a HH BRXL) and have a Castle Link, you can reverse motor diretion via the programming.
