Default Lipo overload!

So after many hours of searching I am more confused than ever. Could someone please help me with my Lipo overload?

I am new to Lipo and after inheriting a Lipo cell with my new crawler and then buying a Hitec X1 AC Plus charger need some help.

From what I have read I think for my 3s 20c 1300mah Lipo my charging rate should be 1.3 amps at 11.1volts Am I right or just setting myself up for a "flaming" both here and on the workbench.

There is a hell of a lot of info out there and a lot of it contradicts itself....

+1.

A LiPO capable charger makes it rather easy (especially if you always balance charge).
I recommend a "1C" charge rate. Thus a 1300mah pack charges at 1.3A....a 2300mah pack charges at 2.3amps (get the picture??). The charger will stop when it either times out (usually 120 minutes/2 hours) or hits the correct charge peak for the pack type.

A 1C charge is always safe, higher charge rates may be OK, but you never know. Too high a charge rate can shorten the life of the pack.

Thanks guys. I really did spend a long time on this, and other, sites searching for Lipo info. It had me second guessing everything.
