| DX6i MOA Question
Hi everyone, I am looking into getting an axial xr10 and a twin stick radio. From the looks of it I will be getting a DX6i. My question is, is it possible to have full control of the motors on the left stick, then on the right stick have an overide for dig? Also, is it possible to have a switch to opperate each motor independently on each stick? Any Ideas on what your setup is and how to do it would be greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance, The Noob |

Here is a thread for setting up a DX6....the DX6i is similar. DX6 DIG made easier I ran a DX6 for a while, but ultimately am happier with my Futaba 4PL. I find that the control of the simple setup/use of the 4PL keeps me from thinking about my radio while driving. With the DX6 I had to think a lot more while driving. The cost difference between a DX6i and a 4pl are not that extreme. |

As far as I know you can't do it the way you want. I have mine set up: I have DX6 with a A14 mix at 100% Throttle channel is rear axle throttle Rudder channel is front axle throttle Front steer is ailerons Rear steer is elevator Front dig I move the left gimbal straight left, rear front dig I move it right. Now it get's tricky, to overdrive the rear I go diagonal up/right, overdrive the front, diagonal up/left. You can "feel" out any situation/configuration just by moving the gimbal around. Takes time and practice. |
