hitec 7950 jittery
 

I didn't really notice it before, but now it seems to be pretty bad. Basically, as soon as i touch my Tx steering wheel, it makes the steering servo jitter pretty bad. Bad enough that it fell off a sidehill the other day.

But, as i turn the steering wheel, it is smooth. It's just as i touch the controller that it jitters. Weird...

Anyone else experienced this?

I'm running a castle BEC at stock voltage.

your bec voltage is at stock? so 5.1v, if so turn the voltage up first to 6v or maybe a lil more and see if that helps.

It was suggested that i wire the ground wire of the BEC into the ground on the servo instead of to the battery? (Currently BEC is wired from battery to the Rx)

Yes, the voltage is stock. I'm kind of thinking the BEC is going out on me.

no i run the signal wire to the signal on the servo and splice the ground from the rx into the ground from the output side of the bec going into the servo is what i meant. sorry

1-Digital servo's tend to "jitter" when close to neutral...rather normal.
2-In general, NOT running the BEC or servo ground to the RX is fine....some radios (like Spektrum) REALLY want a full ground (BEC, Servo & RX) tied together.
I run Futaba radios, they are happy with seperate grounds.

this is the easiest way to explain what i was talking about. the bec plugs into the bottom female plug the servo plugs into the top female plug and the male plugs into the steering port of the rx.
