Question dx6i, ar6100e receiver, axial AE-2 ESC HELP!!

I'm trying to get my axial esc and dx6i to jive but so far no luck. I've had the esc working with my futaba 2pl pistol but I can not get the esc to arm with the dx6i and ar6100 receiver.

It' acting like the esc isn't getting any signal from the receiver. It does make the constant beep like the radio isn't transmitting but I know this receiver is good as it just came out of my blade sr heli.

Any suggestions? I've tried switching channels on the receiver hook up but still no luck.

Is the TX throttle channel set to:

-EPA's to 100%
-Trim to "0"
-Subtrims to "0"

When you calibrate the ESC?

As an aside, Futaba usually needs the throttle channel to be reversed.

I'm wondering if it isn't a voltage issue? What is the voltage required with a spectrum receiver? Does the ae2 put out enough voltage to properl run the reveiver? I had a similar issue with a futaba radio and a castle esc not to long ago. There wasnt enough voltage and the esc thought it wasn't hooked to anything.

All the values you mentioned, Charlie are proper.

Did you try rebinding your Rx/Tx? Also try reversing your throttle channel. When I hooked up my AE-2 to Spektrum Rx/Tx, it would only respond when the throttle reversing was "Normal". The motor spun backwards, so I tried reversing the channel and got no response. Had to swap motor wires to reverse it.

From memory, the AR6100E can operate on from 3.6v to 9v
Maybe check the BEC output with a VOM to verify.
