what is a good brushed motor for around $20? i need something that will work with a traxxas xl5 esc and be realtively water proof so i can wash off my truck.

for the most part all brushed motors are fairly water proof. you could find an integy motor or go for a better machine wounds from brood or hh for around $30 like these Intensity, Team Brood Racing |

cool. i think im going to stick with my axial 27t but put 12g wire on it so the wires don't melt

i doubt your stock wires will melt ive had some little 16ga on a 27t on 3s lipo and it only got fairly warm no where near melting

| Re: motors i guess you're right, but i have had them break off before because they are really thin. i'll use traxxas wire beause i've never had trouble with it.
