Default 2 motors one speed control?

Is this possible? I have a dead esc in my cliff climber, but the only other speed control i have is designed for one motor.....

Is it possible to wire two motors to this one speed control?

Yes, it is....within limits.

1-What battery voltage into the ESC
2-How many turns are the motors (assuming brushed......don't think you can run dual brushless motors off a single ESC......not 100% sure though)
3-You will likely need to swap color codes for one motor so it rotates correctly (assuming it's a MOA, not an issue if both motors run the same trans).

There are a few different ways to do this. This is a basic explanation of 2 of them. Remember that a MOA based crawler requires that the rear motor turn opposite of the front. But I do not know how to control WITH dig?

yeah i'm running 1 esc on my xr10 with a rocker dig, the rocker dig has 2 wire going in from the esc and 4 wires coming out for the front & rear motors then plugs in to channel 3 for control

yeah thats how i have my redcat wired with my dig unit and a losi night crawler esc, but i dont have a dig unit yet for the cliffy.

Im running an eflite 3s lipo on an hpi sc-15 and so far so good... works great.

In the coming weeks ill probably set up an esc with a drag break and a dig unit so all this will be un-done, but I cant stand not being able to play in the meanwhile!

Thanks everyone,

M.

you can still wire it without the dig just splice the 2 wires comming off the esc and run a +/- the each motor thats the same thing the dig unit is doing
