Angry Any fix for burnt up servo??

I have a really nice Hi Tec servo and some how it burned up. Is there any fix for this??

Send it back to get it fixed, find a circuit board you can swap it out with or turn it into a winch!

Also depends what you burned up..

I would just send it back to hi-tech...They will hook you up..

get a new one. Servos burn up a lot, especially if you have too much power going to it. It also happens when it gets too hot. Try to get more ventilation. Hope this helps

The problem is that the servo cost around 130

I've sent them back without even proof of purchase and they've fixed them.
Their CS is awesome. Besides, you got nothing to lose...it don't work.

If the servo is in warranty, HiTec will likely fix it for free.
If the servo doesn't have a warranty anymore, they will charge you LESS than a new servo to fix yours.

So, at this point, you either have a broken $130 paperweight, or send it in for free/low cost fixing.
I know what I would do.

Lol! Actually I just looked back and it was ace rc. Same price though. Does anyone know if they have the same great customer support??

My gears where broken in my 7950 and I sent it to Hitec with out a receipt and they sent it back fixed Great CS
