70t generic can put into 55t rebuildable can?

because of certain size/space restrictions, the only motor i can use is a rebuildable can. (it's a tekin 55t handwound to be specific) but with the gearing of my particular custom build, 55t is too fast for my taste. I have a 70t and an 80t motor but they're in generic cans and do not fit in my custom build. Is there any way to switch the internals of my 70t or 80t motors into the can of my 55t motor?

i know you can order custom turned motors from HH and others, but if i can do it free with what i have, that'd be better

if you tear the end off you closed end 70t or 80t you should be able to remove the armature and the put it in the 55t motors can without much issue. ive done it to old sealed 27t motors

Thanks for the confirmation. I now have a 70t armature in my nice rebuildable can. With a 10.4lb rig I need all the torque I can get! Haha. I would have used the 80t but its definitely defective. It has zero torque. I thought it might have been the cheap cans' magnets or brushes but the 80t was just as crappy in my Tekin handwound motors' can.
