Default Wraith electrical issues.

I took my wraith out the other day and as soon as I turned it on, it would twitch forward and reverse and the steering would twitch left and right. If I would turn left or right the truck would lurch forward or reverse. The wraith is an rtr model and is box stock. I installed a new Spektrum s6100 servo as the old one was about finished and I thought that it might have something to do with it. I also added a trinity 19 turn brushed motor while I was at it. I still had the same issues. I thought maybe the radio had crapped out so I tried the radio and receiver from my stampede 4x4 and it failed to fix the issue. I'm now thinking my esc is the culprit. The truck has never seen water and has always been ran on 2 cell lipo. I'm thinking of powering the radio receiver straight from the battery and not the esc. What are your thoughts?

1-Bind the RX to the TX.
2-Calibrate the ESC to the RX.
3-Make sure rig & TX batteries are OK/good.

I will try that. Batteries are charged in both the controller and truck. I forgot to mention the lights flicker as well.

Well I found the issue. I had a castle link y connector plugged into the harness between the esc and receiver. It never gave me issues at first but I removed it and everything works beautifully!
