Default Goat 2s help....

I am in need of a little help!!!! I am having issues with my goat 2s system It seems to be acting like it is in thermal shut down, or that the lipo is dead. I have been looking threw the manuel and there is no mention of the light sequence that it is showing.
All the normal lights come on... And as soon as it hit the throttle, it just flashes red and then resets its self?? I have ran this unit maybe 10 min. Total, and it is a new system.

Here is a video that I took to better explain what is happening.

This is on a freshly charged lipo 2s.

Are you running an external BEC? My guess is that your RX is browning out and the ESC is loosing radio signal.

External bec is always a must nowadays with ht servos or not. It's just a automatic now for me so no worries down the road.

Hum.. I have a few BEC's. I may add one to it and see what happens. Could this be the root cause of my issue?

Yes, it could be.

If you're not steering at the time, it may not, but ANY bind with a servo close to/above ~200inoz will likely cause issues with any ESC BEC (unless it's a HH BR-XL). Even then, there is a limit.

Hum. Only thing is... It is happening with or without steering. Maybe a simple way to find out I guess, unplug my servo and see if anything changes.

Is the ESC calibrated to the RX? It may be that the TX is not set to "0" on the throttle trim and 100% on the throttle EPA's before calibrating.

It's hard to tell, but the LED combo shown may indicate that.

I still think BEC is the first thing to try but it could be a motor problem. If you push the truck a little bit will the motor attempt to start up? Of course check that you are A-A B-B and C-C on your wiring and make sure that your sensor cable is plugged in and is making good contact at both ends. Also you could check with a multimeter that the sensor harness doesnt have a bad wire in it or something.

Also check to make sure that you dont have any binding anywhere.

It seems as though the ESC isnt even trying to start the motor so I would look into that if the BEC doesnt help. Unplugging the servo would also help eliminate the BEC issue as you suggested.

Well, some times it really is the simplest things. I reprogrammed the esc and bam... all is good. Though I have no idea why it lost the programming in the first place. Thanks for the help guys.
