I know some of the guys run dual Mamba Micros but I'm not sure how well that would work out in a scaler/shafty. I have been running sidewinders in all of my scalers and they work well, the only downside over the Mamba Micro would be the slightly larger size.

I will be shortly ditching my dual Tekin FX-R's to go to dual CC Sidewinder Micro's (smaller than the Micro Pro's) with 35T handwounds on 3S!! I (as well as my son) run a CC Micro Pro in our 1.9 MRC Pro's.....it's great.... He also runs dual Micro Pro's in his 2.2 XR-10 with 40T brushed on 3S LiPO. That is the downside to Castle in my opinion...Lack of proper manuals and specs! It is a bit lame that every ESC they sell comes with the same literature.

I know I've read it on their site before, I also know quite a few people that run them on 35T 540's with 3S. I believe there are quite a few XR-10 drivers using them. Bully's don't seem to need the "really small size", but I don't really like their drag brake as well as a CC ESC. Cost me points today (not as many as my poor driving....but I need all the help I can get....)

Just watch temps as the longer run times with scalers could heat things up, especially if you seal everything up in a box or such. I have been running one on my ax sportsman for 2 seasons now with no issues, 3s on a hot 35turn. |

I run a Mamba Micro Pro in my 2.2 Sportsman truck (3S with a Brood 16T CVR motor) and haven't had any issues. The ESC doesn't get above warm even in the heat of the summer... |

Br00d or Holmes Hobbies are probably the BEST places to go for a kick-ass motor for crawling. I would email each with your rig, battery size/type, type of comps and let them suggest a motor. I believe they will each give you great guidance. |

| Re: castle micro pro esc in a scale 1.9er Yea the price on the SV2's on ebay has gone up a bit lately, I picked up a pair for $35 a piece brand new maybe 3-4 months ago. Since a lot of the short course guys want the castle 1410's people buy the SV2(SCT)/1410 combos and sell the motor and ESC separate, since the motor is the desirable part for SC they let go of the ESC's for cheap.
