| dx3c question
I need a rx/tx. I have a chance at a brand new dx3c for 100.00. I run a honcho, I may get a winch I may not. I also run a ax10, I may get a rear dig I may not. so I may or may not ever need 3 channels. i just spent a shit ton on the honcho. every damn upgrade available. That means Im kinda on a budget. Sooo the million dollar question, can I run a winch and a rear dig off this setup. that is If I ever decide I need too....I currently am running 2.4 axial radios. will it be a upgrade? thanks in advance. p.s. if i could afford a 4pl I'd be all over it. p.p.s. I don't want a gt3b something about it just turns me off. |

I am running my XR10 with a Novak M2 Dig on my DX3c. It works great. The switches are programmable to 2 position, 3 position, or proportional. This is my first and only Spektrum surface radio, but it seems to do a great job.

Its a waste of money even at that price. Why support a company that does not want to listen to what the crawler community wants/needs? Yes you will have one channel available for EITHER dig or a winch but not both at the same time. P.S.Buy a hacked GT3B and you will be much better off. |

SMR is probably right. That is a little high. I picked mine up for $80 including an RX. However, just because they don't make a radio that is PERFECT for crawling doesn't make them a bad company. It just means they haven't released anything specifically tailored for crawling...yet. They crawler community has been growing like crazy so they will undoubtedly come up with something. |

Well the cheapest online price I found was 129.00 shipped. I am going to trade out some hvac work so I will have a hour labor into it. I guess I will own a DX3C tomorrow. Im shure the hacked GT3B is a great unit, but I don't like it....

I'm glad you like your Spektrum, I don't really like the brand, but I don't post all over slamming them either. Sorry you had issues with your "other" radio. | |

Yeah I got issue's, I bought the gt3b, cause there are so many people on here recomending it. So I bought one from one of the guys on here that did a write ups about the radio. So it has the hack, firmware update, bearing mod, high voltage regulator. So I bought one to save money on a multi-model 3 channel radio. And after buying 5 recievers, and 11.1 volt lipo for it. It turns out to be crap, and I don't like it. And every one is so amazed and shocked that I think the radio is crap, and its me.Then I post a question in gt3b section asking what it worth so I can sell it.Cause it does work, but just not for me, and the posting is deleted. so yeah I got issue's, with the gt3b, be glad. that now I just got issue's now, cause I used to get mad and things would get ugly real quick. And end badly for them.
