Default esc ccbec wiring?

just wondering if the ccbec will work with the esc the way i have it installed I have the red and black wires going to the battery and the blue and black going to the motor?

Should work just fine. I don't think it matters where you tie into the battery as long as polarity is right.

Yea that is how I have it on my FXR, as long as it gets power from the battery it will be fine.

I would resolder it with less bare wire on the negative side though, that could be a problem if it gets yanked and shorts on the positive post/wire. Also looks like the solder joints on the BEC are cold and didnt really tie into the joint. It takes a little practice but if you put an alligator clip on there to hold the BEC and ESC wires together you can solder the whole thing in one shot rather than tacking the BEC wires on after the battery wire is connected.
