Default Flysky GT3B and servo winch

I have a FS GT3b and a servo I modded to use as a winch. I can only get stopped and a single direction. My GT3b used to do one direction, stopped, and then the other direction the couple times I have used the 3rd channel before.

How do I get the 3 modes again and if I cannot, how do I make a 3 position thingy for the 2 position 3rd channel radios or where can I find directions to?

Well if your radio is stock then the 3rd channel is only 2 position, you need to get an alternate firmware on the radio for a 3 position 3rd channel and many other features.

Its stock but was working as a 3 position. Maybe it was just glitching out or something then, i thought something was weird when it was working as a 3 position.

Are there any tutorials on making a winch controller to combat the 2 position issue?

Check this thread to find out how to modify your transmitter for a lot more functionality:

If you want to stick to using a two position channel to operate your winch, I make a controller that will work for you:

I have been planning on updating the firmware on my gt3b for a while now. I just need the piece of hardware that interfaces with my laptop.

For the winch controller for 2 position. I read your thread but I was kinda hoping to make a controller if I ended up going that way. I just like making things like that. It's fun and more satisfying then buying one pre built.

Hi there is any radio system that has the 3rd channel with 3 positions by default? Or the best option is flashing a gt3b..
I have a hitec aggressor fm with 3 channels and I was trying to control the winch through a servo board but only does stop and one sense.

Did you ever get your FS working with a 3pos on 3rd channel? I too have a servo controlled winch and want to know how to set it up
