Starts up smooth, then all of a sudden it will "Jump" forward. or stall out then jump forward.

My set up: mmp/3300 pro4 with 32p 56 spur 14 pinion NO COGGING
-sensor cable plugged in all the way
-smart sense mode
-timing changed from normal 10* to low 0*
-crawler reverse (puts it at 50%)
-auto lipo
How many cells are you running?

For what it's worth, I too was initially disappointed with the crawl ability of my mmp and pro4 so I dug into the settings. What I ended up with was a very progressive throttle and brake curve that starts out very flat and gets progressively steeper as you give it more throttle. After all, we're after low to part throttle modulation and this is how you get it with a "big" motor. From there, I have the drag brake set to 5%, brake amount set to 40%, punch control is key, this is set to 40% and along with the progressive throttle curve, it makes for a very controllable car. Start up power is set to low also.

These settings are what I've found to work the best for all around control and fun. I have the super shafty and the slipper is still used quite a bit but everything seems to be happy right around there. You can adjust the settings a bit either way but it would be based on your desired feel of the car. I run 2s and 3s and they both handle the same at low throttle. On top the 3s obviously takes the win.

I am getting similar results in my Wraith with mmp and pro4. My settings are similar to the others and I am very pleased. Smooth low end, no cogging, and gobs of power when I floor it.

I'm running a Pro4 3300Kv and MMP combo in my Honcho. 32 pitch 12t pinion and 56t spur. I ran it on the trail with 2s and my controller set to 70% forward and 60% reverse. It crawled surprisingly well.
