Default hv maxx took a crap!!

:-x this is just pissing me off. the out put shaft on my hv-maxx was bent so i decided to replace the rotor. the capacitor also came off so i replaced that to. when i put it in my tc4 it decided not to go. i got it to go once but i had to push and it wouldn't go again, Any ideas on whats wrong? nothings locked up and it all turns freely. i also tried running the motor free form the car

sounds like the cap, or you tried to run it with a damaged cap. That will fry the fets.

sorry to be brushless noob but that was way over my head. can you explain a little more? all i know is that it woeked fine till the capacitor fell off and i put new parts on.

Your capacitor got damaged, which caused damage to an internal part.

You will need to send it to novak. I am not fond of external Capacitors on ESCs

well that sucks. i probally killed it when i tried to short the two wires. i always had considered myself intelligent until now

WOAH!

Yep, that would do it. The FETs, which provide current to the motor , got fried from backwards current coming from the motor.
