have any of you guys experimented with these in your rigs? i know they are built to run on 12 volts... but i figured on a basic 6 cell pack they might make a decent low voltage motor for a small scale rig.

I still have them in my e-maxx. have yet to burn one up. I have fryed the dang ESC 3 times now and still on the same motors. I would not crawl with them though. If you have the money the get a Lathe then thats the way to go.
