How to do 3 position 3rd channel with hacked GT3b?

Ive looked everywhere i can think of for help on this. i am trying to run a which off my 3rd channel. my GT3B is hacked but i have no idea how to set up the 3rd channel to be 3rd position and reverse the winch servo. the manual is pretty vague in that aspect.

anyone know how to do it?

Hmmm.... that is a tough one.
I haven't tried this but I'd probably set up the winch using the trim keys instead.
That way you'd have independent fwd/rev control. The single 3rd channel button won't give you that.
The best person to ask is losikid. He is the authority on the GT3B hack.

i was thinking of using one of the rockers. ill shoot losikid a PM too.

Petes didnt really help me much as i dont know how things should be set to get such and such result.

To use the ch 3 trim

Long click REV (enter the key mapping menu)
Scroll to 3, enter (choose the ch 3 trim)
scroll to CH3, enter (select funtion...CH3 means controlling ch3)
Scroll to NOL, enter (Select how you want the switch to operate, NOL means No long clicks, so if you press and hold there isn;t a secondary function)
scroll to 100, press and hold enter (your step rate (amount of %'s your servo/channel moves per click)
press back till your at the home screen (save and exit)

Change NOL to MOM if you want a momentary type control....MOM doesn't need the "step" setting so just enter long after MOM

OK, i set the 'd' button up for momentary CH3. the servo just kinda spins when the esc is turned on, the radio shows it attempting to do something by showing something like this: 3 -100 or 3 100. im going to try the servo winch in another channel to see if its the servo going bonkers or something else.

OK, the servo spinning was just because it wasnt centered for that channel on the receiver. fixed. no movement from 3rd channel but works flawlessly from steering ( CH1 ). gonna dig around some more.

Uhhh.. some how its mixing with throttle ( CH2 )..... Not working with the switch but is working with throttle.

and last edit..... FIXED!!! I had apparently turned on DIG for that switch for some reason...

I actually run my winch off the 3rd channel without hack and it stops and reverses and forward like good. If u wanna know how just let me know I'll give u the settings I have and how I manage to use the winch. I'm running a bulldog 9300t winch for my truck

im running a stock gt3b and want to run my winch. How so hi-intensionz?
