Default Problem with Mongoose (MRC Pro)

Hi Guys,

I went from 15 to 14 teeth, since then, everytime the motor has to "force" a little it shuts off. No special lights on the ESC, amber blue and red... would reset after 30 seconds and back to normal.

I just broke the rear driveshaft, so maybe something was "locking" it but I doubt it.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You may have gotten your gear mesh too tight. That will cause binding and heat. I would check that first, especially if this started when you changed pinions and not before.

Thanks, this would make a lot of sense... and this is the first time I work with such small gears, I tried to give it some loose but...

I'll try that while waiting for my driveshaft.

I just had the MRCP setup today (electronics installed, basic setup from Jay Robinette) had a couple run... this is a REALLY fun and compact rig!

Fixed...
it was not the meshing, just the sensor plug that was a bit shaky on the ESC... I moved the electronics around yesterday and may have not checked this one properly.

Now, waiting for the MIPS and will rush outside!

Glad it's fixed. Now go break it.
