Default Dig switch 2+ help

Hi All

I am trying to get a friends crawler up and running that he purchased second hand as a surprise for his son. I am having problems trying to find out how to connect up the Digswitch 2+. Now I have been to the punk rc site and they have two Dig switches 2+ and 3D, The problem is the 2+ switch he has only has 1 servo wire coming from it unlike the one on he punk site that has male and female connections on both port A and port B.

Here is a picture of the one he has

Now I believe that this 2+ switch is for a 3 tx which he has, it's a http://www.etronix-rc.com/etronix-pu...dio-system.php the third channel switch on the controller is a simple 2 position switch when the dig switch is connected this 2 position switch simply locks of either the front or rear motors, it's almost as if it needs a 3 position switch on the third channel.

I also noticed then watching the YouTube vid that talks about how to connect the the current 2+ switch ( with the male and female connections ) in the first 30 seconds or so they do show the "old" dig switch, the one my friend has but I can find no info on it at all

Any help trying to solve this will be much appreciated
