Default Clod Buster dual motor on AE-2 ESC?

I have a chance to pick up a Clod on the cheap in a few minutes.

TowerHobbies.com | 58423 Tamiya Super Clod Buster Metal Plated Kit

All I have handy to test it if I buy it is an Axial AE-2 ESC.

The Clod is a MOA truck, with two crap can 27t motors.

I know things like this have been done before
but I cant remember whats easier on the ESC,
To run the motors in series or parallel.

I cant remember how the ESC sees the turn count of the motors
when wired the two different ways.

Can anybody remind me how that works?

I have to run out the door right now to meet this guy
or I would have tried a quick search,
but if someone could give me a bit of advice on this
I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

OK.

Thanks for all the help.

To my surprise, and concidering the asking price,
the electronics were actually included!

I didnt expect that, and it was not mentioned in the local CraigsList ad.

But seriously, thanks to all the people that jumped right
in there to help me out real quick in a pinch.

You can see all the assistance threads between this post
and my first one........

Sorry, I left @ 0500 this morning to go to a comp (Rausch Creek) and got home ~20 minutes ago.

I can't answer for the others though.

AH-HA!

So how did you figure out I was looking to you specifically for answers???

Sorry my post sounded so whine-assy CIII,
but in the short time you have been on RCC,
you kinda made yourself the go-to-electronics-guy
for quick, usefull answers and advice.

Next time you leave us hanging like that,
two weeks notice please!

Wire the motors in parallel, the ESC sees them as half the turn rate, 27/2=13.5t.

Just remember to wire one backwards to get the axles to spin in the same direction
