Default FXR and 16T Crawlmaster

Would the FXR hold up with a 16T HH Crawlmaster on 3S LIPO?

The FXR is more than capable. Keep in mind a crawlmaster is a 5 segment armature, so you cannot compare its wind counts to a normal armature, which is what most speed controls refer to in their specs. A 16t 5 segment is about a 32t or so....well within the specs of an FXR.
