First, what vehicle, I'm guessing some sort of Axial RTR? What terrain are you running in, are you stalling the motor?

You should go to a bigger spur. Too much load for a 27T motor. What motor? If it is a racing can motor it prolly has advanced timing, which, since this is a Wraith, I assume you are running backwards to make the Wraith go forward. If the motor is running backwards the timing is now retarded and the motor is working extra hard. |

Or if the endbell is screwed on you can just turn it to the zero timing mark. I don't think you can compensate with the ESC. | |

Counterclockwise for a regular vehicle and fixed timing cans. The wraith is clockwise looking at the pinion.
