Castle link problems...

Anyone else having trouble downloading the software? Went to use my old version and it kept saying it couldn't connect to the data base. Ditched it, downloaded the new version, and now it won't load and throws an error up.

Thoughts? Running windows xp....

I just downloaded it last night with no problems. It was a fresh download though, not an update if that matters.

V3.51.05? I've been using it for a few weeks... no issues on my XP or 7 machines. Mine were updates installed over the old version... what error are you getting?

Oh... one of those. Try unistalling it via the CC unistaller, restart and download CClink again. you probably already tried this... any updates or other changes to the computer latley? may be somthing else installed/updated recently is causing the problem?

Mine is doing the same thing. I went to update and now I can't use it at all. Keep us up to date on how you fix it.

If you don't already have it try installing .net framework 4.0

Download: Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

Re: Castle link problems...

last option i can think of... install this:
http://www.castlecreations.com/downl...all_3.41.1.exe

If this works then try updating to the newer version via CClink... if it works great... worst case you stick with the older version.

good luck"thumbsup"

Same for me, WIndows XP Pro, SP-3, CC link 3.51.05. No issues, installed over an older version.

Same problem on my old laptop and desktop, both XP Pro.

No problem on my new Win 7 laptop. Weird.

Might just say just in case, have you rebooted your computer? Sometimes that's all it takes.
