Default Low voltage cutoff?

I have just recently traded for a tuber. it has come equipped with the 1/10 scale mambe max esc. The problem i am having is it is not running correctly because i plug in my 40c 800mah 3s battery and it will run perfect for about 5 seconds then stop and the esc starts to blink the low voltage warning. These batteries have worked fine in my berg, and the esc is set on setting 2 which is auto-lipo and should be able to switch from a 2s or 3s automaticly. i dont know what im doing wrong. Any input would be apprciated.

I wonder if my reciever is a problem? I have the futaba r2106gf on it and I just read its little spec sheet and it said the operating voltage is between 4.8v-7.4v. Maybe it needs the r2104gf reciever like in my berg?

The RX gets it's power from the ESC BEC, thus the input voltage to the ESC is not an issue, it will only put out what it's designed to do.

If some/all of these electronics are new, did you calibrate the ESC to the RX?

I agree, I would check what the cutoff voltage per cell is set to. It may be set way to high

its proly just a drop in voltage under power...had the problem with a vxl running a low power battery like your using.....either had to run a powerful battery or lose the cut off and manually watch it with a reader......if you dont find a working solution either of these should work fine.

also if your truck runs fine with the lvc off then you will know it was either set to high or your batt is to low powered to run with lvc on

So, if I get a battery around 1800 to 2000 40c or 50c, instead of my 800 40c , should solve my voltage drop issue? I wanted a larger battery anyways. What should my voltage cutoff be set on if I go in and change it for 3s batteries?

VC should be the same no matter what..........

2s and 3s are still made up the same, with the same voltage in ea. cell..

once told by Thunder Power VC should be 3.3 per cell...........

Your saying my voltage cutoff needs to be set at 3.3 on my esc?

I use 3.2VPC (volts per cell).
Depending on your ESC, you either need to set a minimum VPC limit, or a minimum pack limit.
Again, depends on your ESC.
