| super 400 cobalt 27T...any good? Watt-Age Super 400 Cobalt Motor (27T) At 27T, I'm thinking I might need a lot of pinion for this, but is it worth trying? |

i ran one in my ax10 truck. cruise over to the axial and and find my FF-SZ thread. had to gear it down with a 9 tooth pinion. kinda low on torque but i cant remember what spur tooth count i used. i bet the 93 spur and 9 tooth pinion could gear it down enough. on my phone or would link for you. i do like the weight of them. about 2-3 ozs less than a 540. |

What I was thinking of doing was to use them with the 1:1 R2 transmission with my Losi CC axles...might just work since I'll need the speed and torque isn't a huge issue with worm gears.
