Default submerged foff

This weekend I thought that it would be cool to try water-skipping the foff.
First time I tried it with a 6 cell stick pack. That went fairly well considering the weight of the batt. I knew it could do better. After I got back home and put my new 3s on the charger, I checked for water in my radio box. Everything was dry, even the ballooned batt.
Second attempt with 3s....WOW, what a difference. All was well until it turned a bit and hooked a wheel(really on water???), and that was that.
Retrieved it and immediately unplugged the batt. Pulled the body, found a slightly puffy lipo. Opened the radio box anbd found it about 1/3 full of water. Removed everything and took the receiver and esc apart. The rx still works and the esc tries to, but it only turns the motor slow and choppy and it gets warm quick.
Is the lipo junk?
How about the esc?

Probably shouldn't have tested it right away, you probably junked them. Next and if you still want to try, bury them in rice and let them sit for a few days, the rice will suck all the moisture out

I did use canned air to dry them off best that I could and let them sit for about 2 hours before reassembling and trying them.

You should have let them dry much longer. Puttting them in rice is best.

Seems like having rice around could be a bit handy.

Can the affected parts remain intact for the rice treatment?

I would take them out of their cases first.

Bury it?

How long do I leave them in the rice?
