Default FXR Throttle profile

I changed the throttle profiles in my dual FXR's from 3 to 1, and my 800mah 3s Lipos only last about 5 minutes now, and take only about 300mah to charge them back fully.
I changed the TP's to the number 2 setting, and everything is back to normal again.
The lipo cutoff is set at #3 and has been set there the entire time.
Any clues as to why this is happening?

Because you set the profile from 3 to 1.

There's something wrong in the software possibly. You should send them an email, they might like to know about that.

Maybe someone here will try to replicate it.

So you went from Throttle Profile 3 (linear) to 1 and it would only run for 5 minutes? Your voltage cutoff should be set for 9V for a 3S, not 3V, or #3 on the Voltage Cutoff setting.

Yep, exactly.

The 3V was a typo sorry, it is set @ #3.

wierd!!!

I changed my brake profile to 1 from 3. Now it goes in reverse super smooth and controlled instead of jumping into reverse.

Try it with a known fully charged battery just to make sure it wasnt a fluke.

I just went to TP 2 and I can live with it, but I'd sure like to use 1 for the same reason as you, smooth reverse!

I'll try it again here in a little while with another battery, maybe it was a fluke x 2 (I did it yesterday with two seperate batteries).

If you want smooth reverse change the "brake profile" to 1. The throttle profile only effects forward, not reverse.

I did change the throttle and brake profiles, both of them to 1.

OH. Got it...

You can dial in some -expo on your radio to counter having to run the throttle profile on 2 or 3.

Expo's are both set to -100, but I'd sure like that TP 1 also!

Got it working right now!

I had to put 3 quarters in my left pocket, only use my left hand, and chant loompa loompa loompa while programming the FXR's, worked like a champ!

What did you end up doing? I tried to get my FXRs to have the same problem you saw but could not get them to do it.

I just reprogrammed both of them, the third time worked perfect, go figure?
I used the same battery all three times too, just a glitch I guess.
