| Throttle problems... Please help
I have an xr10. Running 3 cell lipo, 2 tekin fxr's, Novak the dig, and radio is a spektrum dx3e. My problems started when I pulled the truck from the closet where it spent the last few months. (keep in mind it had no problems when i parked it) Turned it on seemed to work well for a minute, then developed a mind of its own. It goes forward and in reverse by itself seeming to almost mimic the direction the throttle last triggered. It will go from slow to fast and vice versa. The 35t broods took down a metal chair, any ideas why this may be happening would be much appreciated.

how old are the batteries in the radio? Sounds like signal interference... does your receiver still have it's antenna? |

Batteries are probably 5 months old but barely used. Should have plenty of juice. I'll swap em and give it a try. The antennae on the receiver has a small cut just through the plastic. Was never a problem before.

is it 2.4ghz? You could be getting interference from a wireless modem or other wireless system |

Take the rig outside, see if it still acts up. Check TX batteries, should be ~1.4 volts each, or higher. Worst case, try recalibrating the ESC's to the RX. |

Try recalibrating the dig also, it could be sending funky signals to the ESC's.

mudcat ^^^ that was my suspicion from the beginning. i havent had a chance to do anything except replace the batts in the tx, and of course.... that would just be too easy. still fawked. i'll reset the dig. if thats not it i'll reset the esc's. if that doesnt do it then i would assume the rx is fried (already tried re-binding it). if thats the case the 4PL is the next step (replaces the tx/rx and most importantly would eliminate any novak parts from my rig). i'll let you all know how it goes.
