Default Glitchy Glitcherson (Bruiser/Mountaineer owners HELP)

Pull up a chair, this is going to be long...

I am about to though the Mountaineer AWAY! I cannot get this POS to stop glitching. It glitches so bad that it is not even fun to drive and I am worried that I might strip gears from it jolting from forward to reverse so hard and fast. It does not glitch at very little throttle but when I give it more throttle it goes crazy.

It has the following electronics:

Rooster
Futaba R123F 75 Mhz micro receiver
Steering servo Hitec HS5625MG
Shifting servo Hitec HS303
6 cell stick pack
6v rx pack.
Hitec Links 3D synthesized controller
Deans connectors every where

What I have done:

1.I have mounted the receiver in every location I can think of on the truck
2. Located the ESC in many spots
3. Swapped the stock 750 motor for a different stock 750 motor (good thing I still have the other 2 mountaineers at my house )
4. Replaced the capacitors on the motor, it has 3 total.
5. Used different batteries
6. Swapped the Rooster for a Super Rooster
7. Swapped the Futaba receiver for a Novak synthesized receiver
8. Unplugged the servos from the receiver

None of these changes made any difference at all.

These changes did help :?
1. Hooked up a 750 motor (not installed in the truck, just loose on my bench) and no glitching :?
2. Pulled all the electronics out of the truck and hooked them up, no glitching. :?
3. Hooked up a 540 motor (not installed in the truck, just loose on my bench) and no glitching :?
4. Put the ESC/Receiver (Rooster/Futaba) in my TXT and no glitching at all. :?

I noticed when it glitches the ESC light flickers, and If I disconnect the motor wires the ESC does not flicker at all when going through the throttle cycle.

I am begining to think this chassis/motor/tranny config is the problem.

I have spent AT LEAST 6 hours trying to get rid of the glitching. I am done for now, I don't even want to look at the truck!

Here are some pics of the latest electronics config.

I had same problem on my TXT.

Try slipping a small length of fuel line over antenna wire, from base of antenna tube to reciever.

Combination of that and moving my reciever to a plastic mount, from an alum mount, fixed my problem. Looks like yours is already mounted to plastic.

My esc light also flickered when I was having problems.

I put tape on the capacitors like you had mentioned and it did not help.

No I am not going to get rid of the truck just because it is having this problem. I will figure it out eventually. :?

That tranny seems to have been cleaned, are the tranny gears lubed/greased at all?

There's a bunch of moving metal-on-metal in that tranny...

Badger did you try reseting the esc.

If you have the bottom plate try putting that on.

did you try leaving the servos and motor in the car but having the rx and esc off of it?

are the servos glitching too or only the esc? :?

Pull the motor out, turn the radio gear on and give it a shove. If it glitches, it's something in the axles or tranny. Disconnect the driveshafts and do it again. This way you should be able to narrow it down. It does sound like a lack of lube aand metal rubbing together.

Yeah, I forgot to say that I did lube the tranny.

And as far as shoving it, I don't think that would work. It does not glitch at very low speeds so I would have to pretty much huck it down my street. Then I won't be close enough to see if it glitches. :?

Maybe I could get bigred to ride it down the street and let me know if it glitches?
