need battery help please

Hello I run two novak eigers on my Crawler and two seperate batteries that are shot. I was wondering what mah and volt I should use for Max power and time. Opinions? It says 2s an 3 s lip but not sure which to go with for best performance

Sorta depends on the rig, is it a comp 2.2, scaler, FOFF, G6, basher?????

I would run a single 3S LiPO (are you sure your Eiger will do 3S???).

If it's a comp rig, I would likely do 350-850mah 40C+ 3S LiPO (the higher the better "C" for punch....you can get Elite or ThunderPower of up to ~65C) .

If it's a fun rig, 2000mah+ 30C+. Make sure it fits in the rig.

It is a clod axled Crawler I built on an airplane transmitter 7 channel 4 wheel steering with dual novak eigers one for front one for rear. 55t terra claw motors. Have 2 7.2v 1800 mah and it seems sluggish. The escs say they are capable of ni-mh and 2 and 3s but what does that really mean 20 and 30 cells? Idk want to run alot of power but only till its capable cause don't wanna burn em up, so what would be best

Keep in mind a NiCD/NiMH "cell" is ~1.2 volts, a LiPO cell is ~3.4 volts.

So, a 2S LiPO is ~6.8 volts, a 3S LiPO is ~10.2 volts (both are actually higher when fully charged).

ESC's don't really care what battery chemistry battery you use, only the max voltage.

Sigh.................3S............... Eiger/Eiger Pro Crawler Brush ESC

Forget voltage, use cell count..........3S LiPO or ~9 NiCD/NiMH cells.
