I just got a wraith of eBay and it has the timbuk2 wraith edition on it I got a new futaba 4pl-2.4g today. Binded it and the steering works but there is no throttle and the esc does not blink or change any lights when I move the throttle all the lights are on

Silly question but did you recheck all the connections to the motor as also the RX

If it's a Novak esc then it's a very real possibility that it is bad!

How do I know this is my first rc and I dont no right from left on this

Install another esc! If everything works than throw the Novak in the trash and then go get your truck dirty!

if all the lights are on check to make sure the esc is plugged into your reciver correctly, as in not backwards, 180*, it might be as simple as that, im having a similar issue with a differnt brand esc,

Did you calibrate the esc with the radio/tx? If not look for some instructions online for the esc and do that. If that dosen't work then try another esc and go from there.

Check the ESC to RX connection on the ESC side.

I reversed mine when relocating the ESC on my Wraith and had the same results as you.
