Default Charging issues

Since I got into lipos i have been using a CORE-rc udc-20 charger... I get it, its not hyperion... its a huge peice of shit but it gets the job done. This charger is probably the most anal thing ive ever used... For some reason, when trying to charge a nimh battery is just says "Battery voltage error Cell connect" what the hell does this mean? My connections are perfect... the batteries are brand new... I cant even charge the damn thing on 0.1 amps..

I had another version of this charger. Same charger different label and paint scheme. It worked well for a long time but started giving various errors when trying to charge. When I replaced it the same batts charged fine.

I looked at the manual for the one you have and that error isn't listed.

I don't have the charger, but a few questions for you.

1-What are you setting the charger to?

2-Did it work before on the same/similar packs?

PS, read the manual, pretty straight forward.

Thanks guys.

1- I am setting the charger to NIMH to charge a 2000mah 6 cell NIMH pack at 0.5 amps

2- Yes, ive used this charger for 3 years charging stick packs of various sizes, and up to a month ago charging smaller nimh packs in my 8th scale buggy.

I am reading the manual that SINister, and as he said the error isnt listed. I dont understand this issue one bit and its quite annoying

Maybe something got into the balance port? It could be causing an issue that the charger does not like.
The error sounds like a "balance charge" issue, but it's not needed with NiCD/NiMH.
