Default 2 Rx binded to one Model # in 4PL

I have just binded my 2 receivers to my 4Pl with separate model number.

However, by accident, I discovered that with both rigs and Tx switched on, both Rx responsed to my Tx input??

Is that normal?? I thought each RX is binded to specific Model # in the TX and if I selected Model #1, the Rx that was binded to Model #2 is not supposed to response to any Tx input?? At least my spektrum is like that... Is that a Futaba thing?

That's Spektrum that has model bind recognition. With the Futaba 4PL you can bind any number of receivers to any model number, it doesn't discriminate.

My 4pl does the same thing. The settings are different, but both my rigs will run no matter which model# I'm on.

Ok, so in other word, I can have say model 1 for wraith crawling mode and model 2 for the same rig in bashing mode with different setting like throttle curve and abs...etc.

Hmmmmm. Thats convinient....

Yes.

The Futaba only requires the receiver to be bound to the transmitter and doesn't care about which model number it is.

Whereas the Spektrum requires you to bind the receiver to the model number, you can still use the same receiver but each setup needs to be bound.

It's really not confusing.

The Spektrum DX3R Pro requires that each model setup, even if it's the same receiver and you just have different throttle curves, be bound to the receiver or it won't connect. The bind is model specific.

The Futaba can use any number of receivers on any one model as long as the receiver is bound to the transmitter. The bind isn't model specific.
