I'd say 27t or 35t, just my opinion. I have a 35t on 2S Lipo in my SCX10 and enjoy it.

Do you plan on doing comps or anything?

What type of battery are you running?

Any weight been added to the wheels or anything?

Love my 55t running 3s in my scx10s.

Crazy long run times, awesome torque and with the right gearing plenty of wheel speed.

Without having to get involved in new gears and such I would just say a good 35t motor with 2s LiPo. You would be good on torque and wheel speed as well as a regular plug and play setup. Good luck.

i run a cheap integy 35T in mine. so far so good

If your not comping, I'd go with a integy 35t. Plenty of wheel speed when you want it. If you have the cash, buy a good handwound motor from holmes or brood. Amazing difference in a quality handwound compared to a cheap machine wound. I know first hand on my 2.2 comp rig.

Re: 20t 27t or 55t

I would suggest a 35T. It also depends on your driving style too. If you like to go full throttle a lot and try to power through everyting then you could try a 27 or 21. But again I suggest a 35T.
