Default Weird Reverse Problems

Micro Crawler Problems - YouTube

I figured I would start here and if not resolved move it down to the micro area.

Basically the video should show whats going on. The truck works fine going foward but once it is reversed things get goofy.

Spectrum SR3500, DX3C, xys-bl20a esc

I moved the electronics away from the brushed motor just incase there was some type of interference there still didnt help. Any clue?

You are getting some feedback through the RX from the ESC. I had something like that from the addition of a BEC to a castle short course system I had. It was a firmware issue. I am not familiar with your esc, but I still think its a feedback issue. If you have a BEC available, or an old receiver pack laying around, remove the red wire from the esc, and power everything from an outside source. If you have a capacitor laying around that could help if it is some kind of voltage spike, but I am leaning towards the dirty esc power. In the end, I suspect a BEC will band aid the esc issue you have, IMO.
