Default TQ3 and Tmaxx problem **FIXED**

ok so i bought a tmaxx and it ddnt come with a radio. so i went on ebay and bought a new tq3 controller for it and it can with new crystals and a new reciver box. Well i swapped crystals so the copntroller and the maxx have matching ones. so i turned it all on and tried to see what happened and nothing. when i turn the wheel on the control the truck doesnt turn its wheels. any ideas of what could be the problem?

yeah, make sure all your batteries are good. then make sure the crystals are all the way in and are the same color( easy mistake). if that all checks out, its possible that the reciever is screwed. mine did the same thing once and a new reciever is like $26 at the LHS

Try swapping the crystals (one in RX to TX and vice versa). Their positions do matter. Also, in regard to the switches, it would get some kind of response no matter what position their in.
