Default Program Airtronics MX-3

Hey guys, I have a question about how to setup my radio for my recently acquired ClodBuster. I want to run dual servos for steering and I have an Airtronics MX-3 radio. It is 3channels, programmable, but the third channel is a switch, either on or off. I was wondering if it were possible to somehow program the radio to use the third channel for steering. For example, instead of just throwing the servo one way or the other, I want to plug into the 3rd channel and control the servo with the steering wheel along with the first servo. Maybe use that third channel switch as an on/off for the second servo. Any ideas?

Or should I just screw it and go with 2 wheel steering only? A friend of mine, Kevin, mentioned that a Y-harness for the servos was not necessarily a good idea.
