Default Orion Vortex Crawler 21.5T Brushless motor

Does anyone know if the Orion Vortex Crawler 21.5T Brushless motor can handle 4S Lipos? Any idea of KV rating of the motor, tried lo look the orion website and google but no luck.

No experience with that particular motor, but 21.5's have no issue on 6s in general. What's this going in? 21.5 is kinda slow for a TTC type rig. Should be around 1,800 KV, a 14mm rotor would drop that to about 1200.

I have it on Axial Wraith with stock gearing and Mamba Max Pro, so 4S should be fine?

Should love the power. Check your motor temps to see where your at on gearing, crawling is where they build heat.

I have real time motor temps on my transmitter, so it is easy to check, what are safe temps, not it has stayed below 40 degs of Celcius, even when outside temp has been 26 degs of Celcius, that was with 3S will probably try the 4S.
Thanks

180F or 82C is the danger zone for the magnets.
