same thing in reverse...

any idea what could do that?

on/off switch is cut out and soldered...

+1.

What battery (brand, LiPO?, how many cells/what voltage, what "C" rating, what connector)

ESC, brand & model
What motor, brand & model
Brushed or brushless
What rig

You could have a low performance/old battery that can't supply enough power when you punch it. It could also be a poor pack connector.
Heck, it could be a lot of things.....

battery:
** not lipo
** dean plug
** 6 cell - nihm
** dont know stats... no name.. green cells with clear tape holding them together...

ESC:
** Axial AX-2 with Deans plug

Motor:
** Axial 27T - no bullets - soldered
** Brushed

Rig:
** Axial AX-10 Scorpion (could have seen most of the specs in the sig )

albeit think i gotz it...

the radio is screwed... stock scorpion radio...

when i pull the trigger it drives.. i thought it was going slow after i soldered all connections... turns out if i squeeze the transmitter really tight... where the plastic sounds like it is gonna break.. it launches and has the speed i thought....
need a new radio...

sheeze.. need new radio... lipos and charger... and im on vacation.. so no funds for that...

OK, NiMH, they have decent punch if not failed.
Connectors sound great.

Yes, some of the specs are in your sig, I guess I'm to assume your question was for the rig in the sig??

As to the TX, maybe you can open the case up and clean the throttle pot. Some pots are sealed so cleaning is not an option.

Was the rig faster before all the work? If so, did you check TX batteries? Did you try calibrating the ESC to the RX?
