Default Savox 1268SG Issue!!!!

Hope someone can help. I have , or had a Savox 1268SG servo installed on my Wraith. Today I went out to run it and turned on the rig and instantly the steering jerked and locked to the right. It had no response to anything thing, and if I manually centered it or assisted it turning left nothing would happen and then if I turned right it would again go all the way to lock out.

Setup:
Axial Wraith
ESC: Mamba Max Pro
BEC: Castle BEC programmed to 6.4v
RX/TX: FlySky GT3B and FlySky receiver
Battery: Gens Ace 2s 20c 5000mah (x2 parrallel) 2s power.

PS: I know its not the electronis other then the servo because I already installed another HiTec 5645waterproof servo and it seems to work perfect. Any ideas would be helpful.

Have you run it in water recently? If so, it may have water in it causing a short. You can open the case and let it dry for a few days (after shaking it to remove any loose water).

The servo is completely Plasti Dipped on exterior. I peeled it all off (dont see any way in for water) and undid the screws and opened it up. Does not appear to be any moisture inside, but I could be wrong. Just because I dont see it doesnt mean its not there. No I had not run it in water since 2 weeks ago. I was working on it this week fixing a drag link issue so I know the servo was working on Friday because of repairs to steering links. Hopefully its a moisture thing and it dries out. Any other ideas.

The potentiometer died in mine. Worked great for a year and a half, and then just took a dump when I turned my rig on at a gtg a couple of weeks ago. I ended up ripping the board and pot out of mine and turned it into a servo winch.

That sounds like a good idea, might look into that.
