Default Motor Removal

Hope this is the right area to post this. Is there a sticky or pictures of how to remove/replace an electric motor from a crawler? It seems easy, but being new to this, I don't wanna screw it up. I'm replacing the stockers on my MT for a coupla venom fireballs in 55t. Thanks.

Most motors are held onto the motor plate with two M3 screws and the wires attaching it to the speed contlo. Unscrew the screws and unplug the motor wires and it should sit in your hand. (You may need to remove the pinion gear first.)

Look at your manual or if you don't have one then download it from whoever makes the MT.

+1.

On a lot of rigs, the 2 motor screws are buried within a case and hard to see. You may need to remove other stuff to see the screws.
