Default castle mmp sct version issue

Hi all I have just recently bought a used mmp and a few used novak brushless sensored motors.

My problem is I try to run the motors with the sensor wire and it just doesn't barely ever move and when it does move maybe a few inches. But when I unplug the sensor wire they would drive without a problem. I doubt both motors are messed up and I dialed in the mmp with castle link. I'm at a loss of what to do. Is a novak motor just a tricky bad motor to run with mmp? Any help besides the famous "try searching" would be great

Sounds like you have the polarity on the motor/esc connections wrong. Verify that A goes to A B-B and C-C.

^this. If anything try swapping the 2 outside wires (A & C) and see if it changes.

Well I got it working. Had to look up what wire colors were a b and c. The previous owner had taken the label off. Works great. Thanks a lot guys.

Figured that was the problem, glad you got it going.

Typically they are labeled A-B-C from left to right if you are looking at the back of the can but Novak may do it differently.
