Default LNC esc issue?

I bought a lightly used LNC and have been running it with both lipo and nimh batteries without doing any esc adjustments. It ran fine and would crawl in forward and reverse. Now that I have reset the esc to lipo and set throttle stops and am in crawl mode it only crawles in forward and goes full throttle in reverse. what's up?

I would first:

Recalibrate the ESC to the RX.
The NiMH vs. LiPO should not make a difference

To recalibrate, the TX settings should be:
Throttle EPA to 100%
Throttle trim to "0" for trims & subtrims.

It should make no difference between battery chemistry for the rest of the settings.

Thanks, I did all that. I'm thinking that it 's just the crawler setting. I've tried going back to all the other modes and I can't seem to get to a mode that has a slow reverse. Anyway thanks again.
