|  4pl add a receiver HELP
ok so i have 2 4pl receivers one is in my scale truck other is in my ax10 comp. i powered up the receiver pushed the button and it can now be controlled from my 4pl my issue is both are off model 1 how do you add it into the remote so i can switch to a second receiver that will have different functions that are presaved for example my ax10 has a dig so my 3rd chanel button its set for the dig but my "scaler" has 4ws and my end points are clearly different but id ont want to have to go in and change it every time as i plan on using both trucks in an up comming even any help would be great thanks |

I believe you need to have the model selected that you want to bind the RX to, I'd have to ask my son, he has a 4PL.  Just asked my son, yes, have the 2nd rig active in the model memory, then bind the 2nd RX. From then on, whatever model you have up will use the bound RX with the correct settings. Do you have the owners manual? If not, you can download PDF for manual and it is pretty easy to set up a new model. 4PL has 40 memory settings.

This would help a great amount, I think you can find it on the futaba site. I just programed 4 trucks to mine yesterday from a 1.9 comp truck to a MOA with front and rear steer. | |

awesome thanks guys just found the manual online as i didn't have it prior both trucks work perfect waiting on 2 more receivers so i can get the last 2 trucks done to this remote. so much easier then 4 remotes. thanks again. |

You can bind any number of receivers to one model memory. The radio doesn't care which model it is. That's a Spektrum thing that has model recognition, the Futaba doesn't. All you need to do is select a model memory, set up the controls and your done. You then can use the same receiver in a different model memory and not have to rebind it. |
