mini powered mp3 speaker battery replacement??
 

i got a small mp3 powered speaker i run in my scaler. it only lasts about 2 hours on a charge. anyone know if i could crack it open and hook up a 3 AAA holder to replace the 3.7v li ion battery,and run 3 rechargeable AAA batteries

i tried it on the first one i bought using a single 1000mah 25c gen ace lipo cell, and all the smoke came out of the board in the speaker. to much battery maybe?

the AAA's dont have the power to run it. i put a 1500 mah li ion cell phone battery on it.

MAybe a BEC set to 3.5 volts ran off of the main battery. I am not sure the BEC will go that low, but it might be an easy way to power it, and if you run a big battery in your scaler, you probably would not even notice the loss

im gonna try it like it with the phone battery and see how long it lasts
